TAG Medical Products Ltd. was established in 1949 at Kibbutz Gaaton as a producer of industrial tools. In 1994, the company shifted direction to focus on developing and manufacturing state of the art medical equipment. TAG is sited on three campuses - the main facility in the Bar-Lev Industrial Park, the original plant at Kibbutz Gaaton, and the innovation hub "TAG Dream" in Yokneam. The company has over 400 employees across all three locations.

TAG provides extensive research support to leading hospitals in Israel and prioritizes fostering collaborations with the Rambam Innovation Center and the Technion Knowledge Center for Innovation. Our commitment extends to the educational realm through facilitating the “Physician HealthTech Internship” program at TAG. This two-semester practicum offers participating medical residents the opportunity and tools to examine the relationship between medicine, R&D and industry through observation and learning, while gaining valuable practical experience in the product development process.
The Physician HealthTech Internship focuses on medical innovation and entrepreneurship in basic sciences and is a program of the Israel Medical Association and 8400 The Health Network.In addition to our collaborative research and training programs, we contribute to the academic community by hosting guest lectures on innovation and entrepreneurship in various faculties. Through these initiatives, TAG plays a vital role in advancing medical research, education, and innovation.
